Chris Chapman
Company founder and owner, Chris is the main voice you will read on the Company blog, as MrCranky. Generally known as a grumpy old man (without the handicap of actually being old), he claims to view the world as "something which gets in the way of making games".
Despite being told several times to 'cut his hair and get a proper job', he still thinks that games development is the best work around, and would probably keep doing it even if he were independently wealthy.
He has strong opinions on software architecture, usability and user interfaces, development processes, grammar, spelling, and the ever rising price of alcohol.
Tim Angus
Also an experienced developer, previously with VIS, Tim went to the world of "regular" software in the form of Picsel before we tempted him back to the dark side. You could hardly doubt where his heart lay though, as he has continued to develop the popular Tremulous Quake 3 mod throughout his career.
He's not just a fan of first person shooter games though, listing Frontier and Bridge Builder up there too. Arguably he's the healthiest amongst us, since he cycles across the city every morning to work.
Daniel Holden
Dan joins us while continuing his Computer Science degree at Edinburgh, but despite the technical background is also a self-taught digital artist. Like Tim, he has experience in mods and other indie games projects. He has his own website here with some examples of his work. You will find his posts on the company blog under the name OrangeDuck.
He had a busy summer before joining us on the team, as part of the Bazooka Duck team in Dare to be Digital 2010, with their entry (Epoch Defense) taking the Teams Choice prize, as well as Intel's Visual Adrenaline prize for it's impressive visuals.
