Intellectual Property
As someone pointed out, we probably need a policy in place for ideas that are submitted here and bandied about in comments, etc.
As a basic policy, any ideas for games, game mechanics, characters, or other general intellectual properties which are submitted to the site may or may not be used by Black Company Studios Limited without obligation to the original poster. We will promise an ‘Original Concept’ credit, but it comes with no financial guarantees for renumeration.
So, essentially, discuss here only the ideas which you are happy for us to use. If you think you have an absolutely red-hot game idea that you don’t want to just give away for free, get in touch privately and we might just want to negotiate terms to use it. We are reasonable people, and aren’t out to suck away your genius.
